Wouldn't we have a better chance of making the wisest, possible decision, when we vote, if we prioritized relevant, essential factors, rather than the more, petty ones? Anyone, who has ever watched a debate, should realize, we often, over - consider, who speaks the best, instead of, who may have the best ideas, and viable, relevant, sustainable solutions, for the best interests of the nation. Instead of focusing on blaming and complaining, we would, obviously, be far better - off, when/ if, we paid more attention, to the viability, putlocker and reality, of their ideas. After all, what good is served, when the greatest, idealistic idea/ ideal, is articulated, if it doesn't have a chance of being effectively, enabled, either, because, of costs/ expenses, details, or how well potential ramifications, might be fully considered? With that in mind, this article will attempt to, briefly, examine, review, consider, and discuss, 5 relatively, trivial factors/ issues, which, often, are considered, far more, than they should be.
1. Celebrity: Many Americans, often, make decisions, based on their perceived, deference, to certain individuals, often, based primarily on their celebrity status. Many believe, Donald Trump, may be, one of the best examples of this, because, although, he, certainly didn't have the most relevant experience, and/ or, expertise, he was a celebrity. Both, because of his, Art of the Deal, his properties and casinos, etc, and, hosting, a television reality show, he instantly drew huge crowds, and won a challenging election. To this day, some of his most ardent supporters, still cite his alleged, business prowess, as proof, he is the right person, although, much evidence, to the contrary!
2. The Hype: President Trump is not the only politician, who has benefited, from the so - called, hype. Senator Bernie Sanders, has, certainly, gained lots of attention, and devotion, by his fans, because of his rogue image, consistently, for many years. They generally, accept his idealistic proposals, without as much detail, as they probably, should demand!
3. Empty promises/ rhetoric: How come the public holds certain public officials, accountable, to a far greater extent, than others? Undoubtedly, President Trump, has been held to a different standard, than his predecessors!
4. Likeability: There's a factor, often, known as likeability, which, becomes a major factor, in how voters, perceive candidates. How do they base there perceptions, etc?
5. Personal life: Why are some held, far more accountable, for seemingly, minor indiscretions, than, others, who appear, to have done far worse things? Where should the line be drawn, when it comes to someone's personal life?
Instead of sweating, the petty stuff, wouldn't voters make better, more - informed decisions, if they had more details, and greater understanding? Wake up, America, before it's too late!
